Next to him, Wade makes a complicated popping and whistling sound that really does sound like it’s from a cartoon. When Peter looks back over, he’s smiling guilelessly, the blank white eyes of his mask scrunched up to match his grin.
He winks, and the mask blinks too. Peter still isn’t sure how he does that. He’s kinda jealous if he’s being honest.
