Jake knew it was a trap. Interviewers had been baiting him for years, trying to get him to admit his sexuality on national TV. And he was tired of the games, but most of all, he was tired of hiding. Damn the consequences—he was done. Listening to the MC ask the question again, he straightened in his seat and braced himself for what was to come.
“So who would you rather date: a member of aespa or national figure skater Park Sunghoon?”
Turning to the nearest camera, Jake took a deep breath. And then he winked. Smiled. Hoped he wasn’t going to regret this later.
“Park Sunghoon.”
