Amidst the political hell that is post-war Amphibia, Sasha ended up being saddled with the role of scapegoat: her actions caused a lot of pain for the people of Amphibia, and as such they blame her for most of their problems now (with the exception of the toads).
Sasha bore this burden willingly, to keep it from affecting her wives- but years of dealing with being hated and blamed for every little would wear down anyone.
Hence the need for a total makeover, a new Sasha! Someone that frogs and newts could learn to love! And by golly if there's a way to make frogs love her, then the Plantars are gonna find it!
