Description:

Are you Listening?

They all start at the beginning and they all, eventually, find an end.

** This is the final installment and accompanying piece of the Project CYPHR Video Saga, created for Jeongsindan as a transient linking work between our events. Due to the nature of CODA and all of its accompanying parts, the entire work is rated at 'Scary Level 4: Abject Terror' despite how the entire piece is a collection of 'summaries' rather than fully written prose.

It maintains this rating because, despite the content being primarily in summative form, it is still disturbing to general audiences and young adults. Please proceed with caution. **

Notes:

Full explanation can also be found on the accompanying Padlet - created for CODA's full operation.

CODA is the final work following the Project CYPHR Video Saga storyline. In the initial Video Saga, a story was depicted among the characters represented by Bangtan Boys (BTS). The story was never fully explained or revealed during Project CYPHR as it was not 'cut and dry,' and was intended to remain up to interpretation of the authors of the event as to it's full established meaning.

CODA is the literary summary explaining the storyline behind the Project CYPHR videos, teasers, and encryptions. It is included in Jeongsindan as many of the story elements were layered, much like other Tr1ptych events have been, and the story itself is concluded in full in this event.

CODA is a composite summary of seven separate member-specific storylines. Each member-specific story is titled with that member's name: JUNGKOOK, TAEHYUNG, JIMIN, NAMJOON, HOSEOK, YOONGI, and SEOKJIN. For the purpose of the story, stage-names for the members were not used, the only exception being the spelling of JUNGKOOK, which was used considering Ao3 does not recognize the spelling of his name 'Jeongguk' in the tags.

There are only two fully written prose chapter narratives in the entire series, which are marked and indicated in the chapter summaries. All other chapters in CODA are summaries or 'cliff-notes versions' of the events depicted in that story.

Each member-specific story is broken into 7 chapters, or CYCLES, which all correspond with the other member-specific stories and their CYCLES. Therefore, TAEHYUNG- CYCLE 3 occurs at the same time as YOONGI - CYCLE 3 in the chronological progression through the events of the story.

CODA is set up to be viewed in a variety of ways, but has a very specific structure and progression through each CYCLE regarding the order in which the member's individual CYCLE's are read. For example, CYCLE 1's order is as follows:

JUNGKOOK - TAEHYUNG - JIMIN - NAMJOON - HOSEOK - YOONGI - SEOKJIN

where as CYCLE 7's order is thus:

HOSEOK - JUNGKOOK - SEOKJIN - YOONGI - TAEHYUNG - JIMIN - NAMJOON

However, because CODA itself is non-specific and layered in and of itself, there are multiple ways to read it. A few are as follows:

+ CODA can be read Member-specific, where the chronological events of one protagonist are read in appropriate sequence. After one member's story line is complete, you may follow the links to the other members respective stories or access them in the CODA series list of applicable works. To proceed to the next 'CYCLE' for Member-specific reading, simply ignore the embedded image and link at the bottom of each 'CYCLE' and click the 'NEXT CHAPTER' button.

+ CODA can be read in proper member-sequenced order, which was set up specifically by the Project CYPHR team and follows a systematic pattern of execution that moves between member-specific stories. This system was created as a way for the stories to all align in a certain way and is the intended pattern for reading through one specific 'CYCLE' before proceeding to the next in the full CODA story. To follow this method, at the end of each member-specific entry, click on the embedded image and link at the bottom of the work. This will take you to the next member-specific entry in that 'CYCLE'. At the end of each CYCLE, the final member-specific entry will be labeled with 'END OF CYCLE #' for clarification and will link to the next CYCLE in CODA.

+ A reading style of your choosing in which you ignore all links and direction from anyone and read willy-nilly. It's your reading experience, and therefore entirely your free-will to read however you may wish to do so.

CODA will be posted in CYCLEs, with all of the member-specific stories updated simultaneously and with links at the end of each leading to the next entry in the line-up. After the final CYCLE is posted, a conclusion will be published as an 8th work in the CODA Series, offering a final ending statement that signifies the end of CODA and the story that Project CYPHR began back in March 2016.

Please take your time and feel free to explore and create your own adaptations and interpretations of the Project CYPHR Video Saga and CODA itself, understanding that CODA is only the end of our story and our contribution and does not necessarily mean the end of yours. However, do not 'write' CODA into full narrative and claim it as your own.

Enjoy -
