The stars are bright and blazing above, the lack of light pollution — not that there was much on the server anyways — letting them show their full glory, paths of gas and rock creating lines of art, all above him.
If he could visit up there, he imagines it'd be cold. Colder than he's ever felt, despite him living in the antarctic. It'd probably be a sea of black, stars and planets and dots and gasses floating about. Being up there though, with everything, probably wouldn't be as beautiful as it is down here.
And yet he's warm, sitting here, fireplace going in the other room, surrounded by projects and memories dotted about, he's surprised by how much it swaddled him, how much it provides comfort. Safety, familiarity.
There's a brief moment when he wonders why he's rambling so much, but it's covered by the wave of warmth he finds himself wrapped in, both physically and mentally. A small part of his brain coos, purrs and chuffs, as if encouraging. It's soft, and his thoughts are muddled a little. There's a film of something covering his brain and preventing him from thinking straight, but it's safe. It's forgiving, and he can't help but lean into it, a little.

"Techno!!! Run faster!! Go, go!!!" He hears Wilbur bark out slurred orders from behind him, the man catching up with him and running right beside him. An arrow whizzes just in between the two's heads, and they both burst out into a fit of giggles.
Techno pushes his burning legs to go faster, like it was a game of tag. He could almost pretend it was a game of tag if he thought about it hard enough, though he could barely breathe through the extortion of running from the baker they tried to smuggle food out of.
They laughed anyway, Wilbur's hand slipping into his as he pulled them to the left, running down an alley way of the public server they've found themselves on. Techno tries to remember to be quiet as they duck between the buildings, but it's hard when giddy laughter seems to break its way through anyway.
