Either he would rant to you right away about some asshole, he would ignore that the conflict was even happening, or he would go completely silent at first and rant about it later on. You didn’t mind any of these options more than another, but it was definitely preferable to know what was going on. Partially because you didn’t want him to hold in his emotions to an unhealthy extent, and partially because it was so fucking hot when he was annoyed. Mad. Angry. Whatever. If he took it out on you, it didn’t matter.

Geoff Wigington is NOT an alcoholic. Sure, his tolerance is incredibly high and when he gets drunk he is pretty much out of it for a week, but he’s not an alcoholic. His friends and fans would joke about it, as Geoff’s the only one to drink in their three-piece band, but he’s not an alcoholic. Awsten would never let him get to that point…but it’s hard for Awsten to protect him from himself when Awsten doesn’t even know half of what Geoff does.
