This new journey for them will form friendships and romances, expose secrets and traitors, form new allies, and have them face pain they've never faced before, and most importantly, it will have them come face to face with the Black Organization.

Shinichi had promised not to keep people in the dark when they’re in the room. And it was impossible to deny that Kogoro was in the room for whatever this was.
He hesitated. It had been ten years but the habit of keeping quiet hadn’t faded. But-
He took a deep breath. “The scene is-” he stopped, voice cracking a bit. Cleared his throat and tried again, leveling his voice out into the neutral tone he used when describing a particularly gruesome set of facts. “The crime scene is the same as mine would have been.” Kogoro’s face twisted, eyebrows winging up into his hairline. Shinichi kept going. “If the poison had killed me. Same clothes, same pose, same head wound,” he tapped the barely perceptible scar on his forehead where the pipe had made contact all those years ago “same everything. It’s identical.”

Hannah Krause/Keiko Takahashi may have had an unconventional start to life, suffering from severe health issues and nearly being euthanised. But by the grace of a wealthy old man and some kind-hearted scientists, she finds herself a second chance.
I wanted to take a 'fly on the wall' approach to info-dump a ton of headcanons I have about these characters. This is just the first chapter. It is a WIP.
