But just as these thoughts roamed and scoured her mind she saw him. She felt him, like a warm and soothing feeling on a cold, dry body slowly dying. Physically as if he was haunting her, watching her. Looking for her... in a way, in a way, she dared not to look for him. She saw glimpses, flashes in her dreams of something inhuman, something crafted by the hands of the devil come to life and these dreams they had exchanged conversations, facts about each other so simple and yet so intimate.
They had conversations in ways the normal human could not begin to understand. Blood and teeth ripping its way into the human neck to drink blood. A wolf and its prey. But then she knew, no matter how inhuman, that there was no wolf that could kill as the man in her dreams had. Not In a million lifetimes.

Sitting across from him, separated by a tiny coffee table and with his hands clasped over his knees, was a young-looking man with snow-white hair. Despite his dark complexion, his nails were pale and glass-like, sharpened just slightly at the tip. Most perplexing were his eyes — they were a semi-transparent violet, like a pair of stained glass windows lit by a faint candle from behind. He was smiling, and after his introduction, leaned in to speak into the recorder.
"That would be me, I am the vampire Noé Archiviste."

Disgust twisted my stomach, even as my heart pounded with excitement. I actually like Lestat, he’s a funny guy and alright to talk to. Marius told me he’d be coming, I’d been looking forward to it. But the awake part of me that was Armand hesitated. Lestat; a ruinous, pompous, vain, arrogant, slutty and, most of all, stupid.
“Lestat…”
“It's a question that has left our mutual acquaintance in a kind of frantic desolation.”
“This is not his fault.”
“Marius?”
“Lestat, look at me, directly. Convey this message to him: This is not his fault,” Marius said.
Daniel loses his mind following the event of Queen of the Damned and Marius de Romanus takes him in. It's never clear what makes Daniel mentally ill in the books, but I figured I'd apply the show's logic and see what came out. My apologies to all my other fics.

Louis develops some old photographs.
He had loved photographing humans and vampires alike, capturing brief glimpses of the latter’s prevailing humanity on a mixture of gelatin and silver halide crystals - an incredible mortal invention that suited the vampire better than previous iterations. The more sensitive tintypes, wet collodion, and copper plates were a thing of the past: now he could take beautiful photographs of his daughter in their forever-exiguous light.
She was reading in the next room, the light of her lamp far away from the tiny, undeveloped, greyscale panels of her fanged smile that he knew lay before him. He loaded his film on the reel, twisting each side with a gentle, almost musical rhythm. Placing the reel in the tank, he poured the chemicals over and started to agitate it, losing himself in thought.
The ghost of his lost love appeared beside him and quietly watched Louis’ craft with a solemn smile.

“Lestat,” she whispered, before turning Louis’ hand over and pressing her lips to the knuckles like the burn of an iron stove. Louis' stomach turned nauseatingly, and she took back her hand.
