Summary
Just the majority of the Astarion Rewrite for the people who loves this side of him. I decided to finally post this after about 2 months of finishing the Astarion Rewrite series since I actually feel okay about posting it this time. This rewrite is just how I wish the story would've been told with many lore elements and possibilities that might not be in the game.
I am planning on working on a smaller project in the future and a much bigger one, just to know.

Summary
Six months after the fall of the Netherbrain, Gale and Astarion have gone their separate ways. Astarion is coming to enjoy the simple things in life. For once, he’s murdering, threatening, and intimidating the right people, and earning a tidy amount of gold at the same time.
In Waterdeep, Gale is working hard to find his place among the realm’s most prominent wizard academics, but can’t bring himself to publish a single paper.
When Astarion’s sister Dalyria brings him stories of disappearing vampire spawn children, Astarion is forced back into close proximity with the Waterdhavian wizard he’s tried in vain to get over. Together, Astarion, Dal, and Gale find themselves facing a new threat in the Underdark, one that proves the most depraved schemes in Faerûn did not die with the Dead Three’s chosen.
A story about figuring out who you are after trauma, what happens when you begin to heal, and how to rediscover yourself after turning down untold power.

Summary
This maintains the majority of the Ascended Astarion portion of the Astarion Rewrite. In this rewrite, I re-framed the forced narrative that left a message that doesn't make sense of what Astarion's actor had portrayed his character to be. I properly explained his personality change and his operatic persona that people often fail to understand. In my opinion, this rewrite should've been what his story should've been in the game and for the fans of Ascended Astarion, I recommend ignoring the awful writing that's present of him in place of this rewrite. In my mind, this is the true cannon story, not the unprofessional work that's shown in the game that should've been changed. The Ascended Astarion fans should follow with this story as the true cannon and reject what's been shown in the game. Part 6 of the Astarion Rewrite.

Summary
What if the person who helped make Astarion into an at least semi-functional person was just suddenly... gone? What would he do then?
This is a post-canon exploration of just that!
It starts off not that long after the victory over the brain, sadly Karlach flipped a soul coin and decided to burn up instead of going on a romantic Avernus trip with Astarion, so now he's trying to figure out how to be a person all on his own.
Shit.
What will Astarion (and I guess the other less important people) left behind do now?
Especially when events conspire to force Astarion to re-examine his feelings about his not-siblings under Cazador and to stop pulling away from his traveling companions. They are only being nice to him because that is what she would want... right?
AKA We see how Astarion becomes the spawn you can meet at the epilogue party, if you did not romance him. Also he gets forced to admit he has FRIENDS. (Eventually.)
You can see the tags, he's not really on his own. This is a good thing, despite how much he whines about it.

Summary
On her mad quest to return home, Araj assists the freed vampire spawn in designing a potion to sate their blood lust, but only if one of them agrees to bite her.
“There is something profoundly wrong with you,” Aurelia said.
“That is the general consensus,” Araj agreed.
“So you simply want a bite? You could achieve the same effect with a, a, a de-venomed spider, or something.”
“A spider does not have soft lips, or powerful arms, or pupils that dilate when it tastes me. A spider would not moan with delight at my taste, or struggle to tear itself away from me. It would not want and it would not stop. But you will. And if you won’t, I’ll find someone else to enjoy me. Anyway, I’ve already been bitten by all variety of spiders. Even a drider.” Araj pressed her finger to her lips and cheekily said, “Shh. Don’t tell.”

Summary
In the aftermath of defeating the Absolute, Astarion has no choice but to retreat to the shadows. Fortunately for him, Church had already decided long ago to be by his side wherever that may lead. The pair find themselves descending into the Underdark in hopes of helping the thousands of vampire spawn they freed find shelter, a community, and perhaps eventually break the chains of their pasts.
However, living in the Underdark as the sole warm-blooded caretaker of thousands of traumatized spawn takes its toll on the tiefling warlock. After a shocking event within the community, Church struggles to stay strong for Astarion and his other charges.
While he is haunted by memories of past rejections and failings, Church finds solace in Astarion's constant companionship. Ever watching each other's backs, they remind each other of the memories that have made them both stronger, together.
