A competitive team, consisting of two members of the New Squidbeak Splatoon and two fun-loving inklings are determined to win this year's Inkopolis Plaza's World Inkling Invitational. They have their own competitive team set up, they've practiced, they are going to give it their best shot!
But how can they get there when they need to pull themselves together first?
Nari, the slayer on the team, is investigating a potential kidnapping case in Octo Canyon, with civilians lives being in danger.
Hachi, the other slayer, gets trapped in a virtual reality place with Off the Hook called the... "Memverse."
Koi... well... something bad happens to Koi.
And Ari, the skirmisher, is constantly confused with his own crushes on another, while being wrapped up in a Police Investigation, being the only one who could bring the culprit to justice.
With all the calamity, and the tournament only a few months away, can the team pull it together and prove that they have what it takes?
