    And he’s been painting a lot more. A lot more if you compare it to his usual basis. He loves the rainbow, it’s his favorite color. Anyone in town knows this, just ask and you’ll get the same answer. But he’s been favoring another color as of late.

    Green.

    He decided to go outside to get some fresh air and paint while he realized this epiphany. He never particularly had strong feelings about the color, but everytime he saw something green, he had a sense of longing. The bushes, the trees, the grass, hell, every time he saw Howdy himself he remembered the distinct word that was ingrained into his brain at this point.

    Green. Again, the feeling like he needs to remember always comes back.

    “Do. I. Have. A. Birthday?” He repeats, slowly, like he was speaking to a person he considered to be very simple.

    “I, uh, I guess?” the red one replies, glancing at the shortest for help. Met only with shrug he continues on, face puckered in confusion. “I mean you kind of…have to have one. If you’re alive. So, yeah, I think you must have a birthday.”
