"What your saying is, Four, who knows of Hyrule's fears, locked him in the bathroom in the dark to scare him as… A joke?"< He explained slowly, disbelief extremely apparent.
"Yes! I personally couldn't believe it either." Warriors pressed his hand to his chest in feigned shock. "I-It really does hurt seeing such- Such hatred between us all!"
Warriors even managed to get a single tear roll down his face.
This might just be his best performance yet.

"What..?" Shadow breathed. "What the fuck are you talking about?!" Shadow screeched, stomping his foot on the ground. His hands were curled in balls so tightly that red crescents formed from the pressure of his unkept nails.
"I'm alive, aren't I?" Four laughed, manic. "I-I'm not laying dead in a ditch somewhere, I must thank you for your time!"
"What? I-"
"No, no- Really, I mean it!" Four grinned like the Cheshire himself. "I don't need you anymore."
Shadow felt as though icicles pierced through his always-cold skin. His blood ran even colder than it already was.
"Its over!" Four announced, clearly blinded by some sort of false reverie and disbelief.
"You're damn right it is." Shadow spat.

Four can't get over the past. Loss always follows.

Four stares at the triumphant handshake between the two, Legend tapping the back of his Pegasus boots against the ground nervously, and Hyrule wiping the splatter of blood away from his mussed curls. A usual affair. His eyes gloss over with longing, and for once, Four lets his guard down as he watches for what he yearns for; To be wanted. To be a part of something, and to be loved.
Maybe they'd be better as a group of eight. Maybe Four wasn't needed.

Summary
The thing about secrets that Red would say he hates the most is the fact that lying and deflecting is a key component in keeping them. Red would also say that he respects his brother's privacy, so he understands why they kept Fours secrets, but that didn't change the fact that Red hates lying.
So Red had no choice but to watch as his brothers lie, lie, lie and hope that they wouldn't end up in “their” Hyrule, because no matter what his brothers say, it's hard to scheme and lie when Four wouldn't be able to hide the fact that he knew almost nothing about his time, and his time knew almost nothing about him.

Due to a mishap in time, or perhaps fate, or perhaps just a cruel game, the Adventures of the Hero of the Four Sword end up with two sacrifices instead of one. Unfortunately, someone managed to bring those two back to life, but they aren't quite... right. Or maybe they are, they were quite a bother when they were alive, those Heroes of Darkness.
(Meanwhile, Time would really like the voices in his head to stop asking 'whose Ganon is this?')
