The first thing I noticed was the air—warm, still, and humming with energy. My eyes opened, and for a moment, I just… breathed. I didn’t dare move. I didn’t even blink. I needed to be sure.
The soft gold glow bathed the walls of the chamber, reflecting off the polished stone floor. It was the same. Exactly the same. My heart skipped a beat, then hammered so hard I thought it might shatter the moment. But it didn’t.
I was here. Azarath.
The breath I’d been holding finally escaped, and I nearly laughed—nearly. Relief swept through me, sharp and dizzying, and I pressed my palms flat against the cold stone just to steady myself. It worked. The time travel spell actually worked.

She feels a bit like Little Red Riding Hood, except instead of bringing candy, she's bringing more news to a hypothetical grandpa in an even more hypothetical church in a short period of time before the rest of simple humanity explodes at the hands of the vampires. But if the shit is still low, she has to find herself trapped by a giant animal that she should know, but doesn't.
Oh, and one more thing, Raven wants to die more than anything.
So please kill her at once.
