Summary

Jack takes Izzy’s hand, giving it a squeeze as they walk up the path to the front door of the Barlow’s house. The cobblestones are lit by small solar lanterns, each containing a miniature flame that makes the cold evening seem just a little bit warmer. The building itself is as close to a New England-style mansion as you can get without being gaudy, and the fresh layer of snow on the roof makes it look like something out of a Hallmark movie. The glow of the lights strung across the front porch and along the widow’s walk twinkle merrily as they reach the door.
Izzy glares at the house. Of course, the Barlow’s home is beautiful and elegant. He wants to get mad about it, but he's suddenly curious about what kind of art they have. He expects it will be tasteful and expensive and utterly, devastatingly gorgeous. Probably with a lot of nudity.
