Summary
After months of (im)patiently waiting for Katsuki to make a move with Izuku, Kaminari decides enough is enough and resolves to get Katsuki back out on the dating scene—by signing him up for an anonymous, heroes-only season of a terrible reality TV dating show, of course. Katsuki begrudgingly agrees, ready to flee at a moment’s notice, but finds himself strangely drawn to one particular contestant among all the—literal—blind dating.
Meanwhile, Uraraka is fed up with Izuku’s horrendous love life and, with some covert assistance, shoves Izuku onto the same show in a last-ditch effort to find him a partner, or at the very least a date who won’t try and use Izuku for their fifteen minutes of fame. Izuku is cautiously optimistic, and quickly finds a favorite contestant. Who could it possibly be?

Shouto Todoroki had been carrying his personal defiance ever since he was eight: being a fighter in illegal underground Quirk rings. It was the best way he knew to feel some kind of connection to Touya, remembering the nights his older brother would sneak out with him to watch the brawls while also viewing it as a way to get back at Endeavor, knowing how furious he'd be seeing his masterpiece refusing to use his fire outside of the ring.
The coping mechanism wasn't the healthiest but Shouto knew he would be alright in the end. His fraying temper and mental state wouldn't cause any real issues, it was manageable. It was fine that he was sleeping less after starting UA, when the insomnia grew so severe he turned to alcohol to sleep, nobody needed to know. His slipping grades were no real concern as long as they stayed in the ranges required to stay in the hero course, it would all be alright, even if it was a constant struggle to not snap at everyone around him. The youngest Todoroki refused to see he was destroying himself.
