He hated thinking about the hotel, but it’s not a fear, it’s not desperation — it’s just sickening. He can’t quite name the feeling, but he feels dizzy, displaced, when you’re on a trip and leave everything behind. He didn’t have his toothbrush, his utensils, his ingredients… hell, he hadn’t eaten any sort of food in days. Charlie had really spoiled him.
Tears came to his eyes when he thought too long about everyone — Husk’s banter, Cherri’s cuddles, Charlie’s hugs, Nuggets’ squeals when he came home, and Vaggie’s… Vaggie-ness? And Niffty… Oh God, Niffty.
Angel comes back to the hotel for some comfort.
