The flashy bird-ape doesn't even seem to notice Damas' existence, so engaged in conversation with himself. Damas idly wonders how much he would have to do to knock him from his reverie.
His eyes wander up and down the moncaw's body. In truth, he'd always had a fascination with the species. Insular and reclusive, he never thought he'd meet one, much less end up with him perched on his throne. The diversity of sapience in their world is truly remarkable.
He's not sure what surprises him more - Pecker's bold and shameless nature, or the fact that he happily partakes in Damas' very human harem.
Not that the moncaw has seen any action the past few days, either. Any meeting Damas attends is of course required for his advisor.
It's with this thought in mind that Damas finds his hand slowly inching underneath the moncaw's tail.
