Garter and Chuck are already fast asleep, but Brief sits on the ground beside the lake under the stars, stewing over a few things. Polyester and Polyurethane join him.
They chat about a few things. About fathers and sons. About duty and freedom. About whistling with leaves.

Specifics aside, he’s never had to watch people who he’s friends with butting heads with each other. He’s not sure how he’ll handle being stuck in the middle of that. He wonders how he should feel about this whole messy arrangement he’s found himself in.
