The Turks are in an uproar.

Or an uproar Turk style, more like.
Meaning they're freaking out so bad that if they were normal people they would be running to the hills screaming their lungs out so high that even the wutaians would hear it clearly. But since they're not, they're just petting their guns a lot, drinking obscene amounts of coffee (and the cafeteria's coffee at that, even though only SOLDIERs can stomach that sludge without suffering the consequences afterwards) and narrowing their eyes threateningly at every person they cross paths with... SOLDIERs included.

Then she smiles.

(In which Cloud accidently causes Jenova when he arrived on Gaia, kills her after nearly decimating an entire race, goes to sleep, only to be partially awoken by a heartbroken and lonely Sephiroth. Oh and Cloud is a potential God? Just not one that is recognized to be a diety within Gaia. But Sephiroth latches onto him instead of Jenova.)

What would have happened if someone told Sephiroth the truth about his origins? In my AU Final Fantasy VII tale, Vincent gives him this information, along with a second chance. Sephiroth joins Avalanche in their fight against Shin-ra Incorporated and Jenova, rediscovering his humanity in the process. (Originally written in 1998-2000, I freshly retouched it all in 2013! Now it's on Ao3 for the first time as I post all 63 chapters... 67 if I do what I want and post Interlude as the direct sequel... then move on to all the other the sequels, lol.)
