But due to the amount of stress and pressure it has been, Syzoth needed to get away, maybe just Outworld in general. Not sure where, until Tomas offered him to stay with the Shirai Ryu for a while. However, they grow close together and fall in love.
Enjoying his time with Tomas, Syzoth stayed at the Shirai Ryu longer than he needed, even forgetting all the things he faced in Outworld. Did he stay longer just to get a break from the emissary role, or did he stay spending it with the man he holds dear to? Seems that it was worth the moment.
