Beiyuan couldn’t tell if the dizziness he felt was from being spun around so quickly when he left the room, or from the actual gas itself. But as the seconds drew on and the dizziness didn’t go away he knew what the answer was. Trying to be as calm as possible, he asked. “What are the symptoms of inhalation?”
“High fever, dizziness, vomiting, and if left untreated, eventual death.”
Beiyuan has a sinking feeling he may have truly made a mistake this time.
Beiyuan gets himself into serious trouble playing around with Wu Xi's poisons.

Summary
When Jing Beiyuan was younger and less familiar with his husband, he often lost his temper, and hid it beneath one of the many masks he was accustomed to wearing in the imperial court. After so many years of doing so, and so many years of Wu Xi's own frustration with these old habits, he was trying to do better—it just didn't always work out that way.
An alternate ending to episode 30—what if Wen Kexing were just a few moments later? What if Beiyuan finished the accusation that he started?

Summary
When Lu Ta was first selected as the next Shamanet, he had been awed by his teacher, and awed too by his teacher's finely-dressed husband, who became his own adored father, taking him to play all across Nanjiang when his lessons were done. But for an entire year, the small boy had wondered in faint horror at the way that his teacher seemed to treat his father, and alarm that no one else was helping. At last, LuTa decided that he was obligated to do something about it. Thankfully, it was all a misunderstanding after all.
Some resolution to the unfortunate misconception implied at the end of the "Later On" extra in Qi Ye, set about a year post-canon.
