Humming a delightful little tune as she rocked on her heels. Pouring heated water into the basin of a cup. Well more of a short, round mug with a floral design. A typical for Vine Staff Scythe had came to realize. Albeit not a big surprise. Scythe had always stood, picking up on the small mannerisms Vine Staff carried on her shoulders. Almost used to the weight of her actions already.

Vine Staff honestly didn’t know how she got here. Valk and Dom had hosted an afterparty for today’s phight, and she decided to attend, despite herself. The game had been pretty successful for her team, and she felt relaxed enough to let herself have fun for a few hours, even if she was just expecting to stand in a corner with weirdly expensive alcohol until she determined it was an appropriate time to go home. So when Scythe approached her, flirty as ever and equally intoxicated, she decided to take a little risk. After all, both of them were so tipsy that they probably wouldn’t remember it in the morning, and her inebriated self was thinking so illogically that sleeping with a sexy serial killer didn't seem that bad.

Slowly opening his door, he left his study and crept towards the kitchen, trying not to creak the floorboards. Sneaking into the kitchen, he quickly grabbed a large knife from the wooden block, brandishing it and gradually walking towards the living room. As he entered, he found nobody in his field of view, although he did notice that his window was shattered. Creeping further into the room, he continued to flourish the knife around, looking around for whoever had invaded his apartment.
He was so on edge that he didn’t notice the person creeping up on him. He practically jumped out of his skin at the kiss of a gun against the back of his head.
