Chuuya has thought about searching for his family since he found out he had one when he was 16. However, he never had the courage to. He was, to put it simply, afraid. Afraid that they would look at him with disgust if they found out that he is a mafia executive. Afraid that they wouldn't recognise him. Afraid that.. He wasn't really their son, that they would know he was just a clone of their real son (Though the mackerel always makes sure to tell him he is human in his own infuriating ways). Nonetheless, he thought it would be safer for his family.

Summary
In an alternate universe where Baron Draxum gave up his villainous ways long ago, the turtles are slow to take him up on his offer to train them until their delay costs them dearly when one of their own is captured and blinded by the Foot Clan while on a routine pizza run.
Accepting his new offer at proper training, the four turtles defy their mutated rat dad's objections and begin intensive work under the Baron to prepare for the return of a powerful being that is prophesied in yokai scrolls to bring with him world-wide destruction.
Realizing the Foot clan are reassembling the parts of the kori yori to reawaken the Shredder, Splinter is forced to admit the yokai who previously captured and experimented on him is right and they must work together to train his sons so they are ready in time.
But can the creator of the four mutant turtles use his mutagen to recover the sight of their wounded brother before the Shredder rears his ugly head, so he can aid in the fight?
And what will happen if he isn't able to do so in time?

Izuku is only five, and hoping that the doctor is wrong. Because if the doctor is wrong, then everything can go back to normal. But, then something awful happens, he's attacked and every mean word people say about him echoes, and the roof edge is right there. In his desperation, his quirk finally activates, bringing him the family he wanted and a quirk to boot. Splinter is just trying to get the turtles to bed after coming home injured from the battle nexus, when something catches his interest, a sort of 'call' and a portal slowly forming under his feet. He only just has enough time to grab his boys before they are dumped into a new world full of new problems.

(This fic is basically me projecting my fibromyalgia onto Donnie and seeing where it takes me.)
