Summary
Both New York and the Hidden City are bustling once again. People online - as well as the local street corner lunatic - are already claiming the Krang invasion was just some big government conspiracy despite the fact that the lines between human, yokai, and mutant are starting to blur. It's business as usual again, at least that's what Leo tries to tell himself. His brothers have finally stopped hovering, they're going on missions together again and stirring up trouble just like before. Surely his current bout of insomnia and restlessness was nothing to worry about.
What he needed was a distraction; training and meditation was too familiar, too routine, so maybe he could pick up a new hobby, or find a new friend to hang out with? As much as he loved his big extended family - Draxum unfortunately included - sometimes they cared too much.
A low-stakes friendship was just what he needed. Someone outside of the family that didn't know about his past injuries, past mistakes, or anything about his past in general. That was the one and only reason he kept seeking out that rabbit.

He could be stuck in Neo Edo all alone, but thankfully he has Yuichi to keep him company. It won’t be all rest and relaxation, however. They still have the Council to worry about.

Leo is out on a walk one night when a random person starts talking to him. This person would befriend him; Yuichi Usagi. Their relationship grows, both platonic and potentially romantic.
Things unfortunately go radio silent when an alien invasion takes place, and Usagi can’t get ahold of Leo.Leo has simply just disappeared. What happened?

Yuichi finds the turtle very unsuitable for a whole stealth mission since what he’s observed from the past few months of fighting over petty theft is that the guy is definitely not stealthy, he’s incredibly and annoyingly FLASHY.

Leo is fine. Despite what his brother’s might tell you, he’s doing great. Sure, he hasn’t quite been himself since Splinter’s death, but he’s adjusting and his brother’s silly little intervention wasn’t going to change that. He tried to tell them as much before the dart pierced his skin and everything went black.
He now finds himself half-way across the world in Japan at the mercy of his unknown assailants. Just as he’s about to give up all hope, he’s saved by a band of Yokai Samurai led by a rather nice white rabbit. He’s not sure how he’ll ever get home, but he trusts Yuichi Usagi to get him there.
