Summary
"He's all for the taking for all I care. I'm more concerned about how she's not thinking about herself. Steve has a reputation. He's a literal man-slut." Barb giggled in agreement.
"How come it didn't stop you?" Barb asked innocently. Valerie had to think for a second before replying - looking at the ceiling as she did so.
"I guess I thought I'd be able to change the way he's been," She looked over at the group of Steve, Tommy, Carol, and Nancy, "It's hard to change someone when they're friends with assholes."

Summary
“Things between me and Harrington are… complicated.”
“Complicated?” Barb repeats, perplexed, thought her eyes soon widen beneath her glasses as if she has jumped to the nearest possible conclusion from such a vague statement, one Jennifer knows will be incorrect, “Oh God, not you too-”
“No,” Jennifer shakes her head, eyes squeezed shut for a moment in disgust at the insinuation, “Absolutely not. Not like Nancy, no.”
Barb continues to stare at her, confusion deepening as she awaits further explanation; an explanation Jennifer is too tired to even try to explain. Instead, she simply offers, “He’s just… not who he used to be.”a slow-burn spanning all five seasons (and beyond?), featuring Jennifer Hammond - niece of Benny Hammond - and her fight to save a town that hates her, with the boy that left her behind

Summary
Lisa Henderson didn't like Steve Harrington. Not at all.
They were best friends as kids and now they didn't talk, and Lisa was content in forgetting about his existence. That was until he started dating her best friend, Nancy Wheeler. Trying to adapt to his unwelcome return into her life, as well as trying to stay out of whatever her brother Dustin and his friends were secretly up to was no easy feat, especially when literal monsters were thrown into the mix.
Lisa Henderson didn't like Steve Harrington, but she also couldn't seem to get rid of him.
And maybe, just maybe, she didn't actually mind that much.

Summary
Charlotte “Letty” Hopper knows Hawkins isn’t safe—she learned that long before the monsters. Dumped on her uncle’s doorstep by a mother who didn’t want her, Letty clings to the fragments of normal life: late-night shifts at the arcade, banter with friends, and the dangerous pull of boys who make her feel seen in different ways. But Hawkins doesn’t let go. Between whispers of the Upside Down, memories she can’t shake, and the bruises of a past she never asked for, Letty has to find her footing before the town swallows her whole. A story of survival, found family, and the messy intimacy of growing up in a world where darkness is always just beneath the surface.

Summary
Rosemary Clarke never planned on finishing high school in Hawkins, Indiana. She definitely didn’t plan on living with her nerdy science-teacher uncle, getting adopted by a bunch of overexcited middle schoolers, or forming an uneasy co-babysitter alliance with Steve Harrington of all people.
But Hawkins is stranger than it looks, and normal keeps slipping through Rose’s fingers. Between Dungeons & Dragons nights, suspicious happenings no one can explain, and one ex–golden boy trying very hard to be better than he was, Rose finds herself building a new life out of grief, bad jokes, and late-night car rides.
There is too much hairspray, cryptic small-town mysteries no one quite wants to name out loud, and two reluctant babysitters who keep ending up on the same side of things. Rose and Steve are determined not to talk about the way they fit together in a crisis… or the quiet, inconvenient feelings that start growing in between monsters, math homework, and middle school dances.

Summary
Cam planted her hands on the ground, pushing herself up to her feet. In doing so, a thick goop covered her palms. She gagged, wiping them on her pants.
She surveyed her surroundings. The frigid air made the darkness all the more unwelcoming. She could feel goosebumps sprouting all over her arms and legs.
Cam wasn't afraid of the dark. She was afraid of hypothermia, starvation, and dehydration. The gloom of the sky cast a shadow over the forest, making it hard to discern anything. Red lightning flashed across the sky, followed by a loud clap of thunder.
All Cam wanted to do was survive high school. Not get roped into interdimensional monster-killing. Unfortunately for her, luck wasn't on her side when one of her best friends goes missing the day after another disappearance.
OR
Cam finds out about a strange alternate dimension whilst attempting to find her missing friend.

Summary
Five was now twelve years old, and the young girl was playing in the Rainbow Room with an eight-year-old Eleven.
Peter hurried into the room and crouched down next to the two girls. He set his hand on Five's shoulder, "Little one, I want you to try something new for me."
She beamed at him in excitement, "What?"
He looked between the two young girls before he leveled the older one with a look, "I want you to jump as far as you can."
"But I don't know where I'm going," Five frowned.
"You'll be fine, I know you can do it," he smiled at her, just the way he always did when he wanted her to use her powers. He lowered his voice, "You want to make your Papa proud, right?"
Eleven grabbed hold of her sleeve, "Come back?"
Five turned to her and nodded, "Of course." She stood up and stepped away from them. The young girl closed her eyes and focused her energy out as far as it would go. She felt her body shift just before she was gone.
Peter sighed, "She did it."
Dr. Brenner stormed into the Rainbow Room, followed by two Orderlies, "What did you do? Where did Five go?"
"Away from you," Peter said softly, almost like he didn't believe it himself, as the two orderlies closed in on him. -

Summary
They stepped into the cooler, brighter lights of the mall hallway. The smell of popcorn from the theater mixed with the general hum of the mall: distant music, shoes on tile, and the occasional announcement over the PA. Everyone was still talking animatedly about their favorite parts of the movie when Libby felt a sudden, sharp impact against her nose.
The group froze, eyes widening, as Libby staggered back slightly. One of the four boys from before—now with dry pants but still looking smug—stood there, fist raised, a cruel smirk plastered across his face.

Summary
Valerie Greene has always been a little weird. Not enough to be shunned in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana but just enough to never truly fit in. Not with the cliques of Hawkins High, not with the teachers who watch her too closely, and not even with the friends who swear they know her better than she knows herself.
For as long as she can remember, Valerie has been haunted by headaches always following nightmares she can’t explain and waking visions that feel a little too real. She calls them intuition. Her mother calls them sensitivity. Valerie calls them a curse when the dreams start pointing toward something terrible coming to Hawkins.
When a young boy disappears without a trace and the town begins to unravel, Valerie’s nightmares intensify. Fear that isn’t hers creeps under her skin. Shadows press in from places that shouldn’t exist. And Valerie realizes that what she feels isn’t just a bad omen — it’s a warning.
As she becomes entangled with old friends, unexpected allies, and the strange girl hiding in the woods, Valerie is forced to confront a truth she’s spent her whole life avoiding:
Whatever is coming for Hawkins has been coming for her, too.
