The previous Nerevarine passed birthing the next, who grows up in the Argonian Mission in Ebonheart. It was happy enough an upbringing, though despite the Argonians' best effort she still feels as though she is missing something.
At thirteen, Haj-deek is told who she is, and why her mother left her in the care of the Argonian Mission. She is given both the journal of her mother and the moon-and-star ring. She slips the ring on, the memories return...and she realizes that while she DOES have a family, it is her destiny to destroy them.
The Queen of Dawn and Dusk should really have known better.

The Dark Brotherhood is presented with an unparalleled challenge. Someone in Vvardenfell has performed the Black Sacrament, this time marking a daedroth-mer hybrid that goes by the name of "Druin". He's one of the many remnants of Oblivion that have been trapped on the mortal plane since the end of the Oblivion Crisis- extremely powerful and seemingly indestructible.
The success of this contract requires a journey to the Alik'r Desert, where they'll unearth a powerful Aedric sword known as 'Dragonfury'- it is the only sure means of ending Druin's life. Additionally, The Dark Brotherhood must employ the services of an external group. As if it's not enough that there are many dangers and challenges along the way, they must also endure the discomforts and tensions that brew from joining forces with a most unlikely ally: The Knights of the Thorn-- and the Adoring Fan ends up joining the team as well!
