Summary
“Just hit me or something.” The words crack like a glowstick.
Something glows in Robby. Neon sludge threatening to bubble up and seep from his lips. Hit him? He’d considered it. Often. He’d feel better. Probably. But only if his fist hurt. Only if his own knuckles were battered as a result. Only if the pain was brutal enough to cross the threshold from mental to physical and leave them both maimed. He thought about what the aftermath of that would be. The shadows would be left with a very sad dance floor.
***
Healing is not linear, repair isn't simple, and Robby can't decide whether to drift in it or drown in it.

Summary
Samira Abbot did not run out of cowardice.
She ran because staying meant dying in the same place where Jack took his own life. She traded Pittsburgh for Oceanside, love for overnight shifts, and her ring for a badge bearing her married name. She lives saving strangers… because she couldn’t save the only one who mattered.
Then he appears.
Andrew Cody: bleeding knuckles, an empty stare, a man made of violence and fear. A man raised to survive, not to be loved.
When Samira looks at him, she understands. Because broken people recognize other broken people.
She sees in Andrew everything she lost with Jack. He sees in Samira something he never had: calm.
Samira swore she would never love a man like that again. But pain does not listen to promises. And Andrew Cody is not just a patient… he is proof that some loves are born where everything should die.
Two wounded souls. A past that does not forgive. And an impossible question: can you save someone… without losing yourself again?

Summary
“Fuck Huckleberry, you have quite the mouth.” Robby said, his hand leaching into the younger's hair, taking subtle control of Dennis’s inexperienced motions. Dennis had never taken such a big cock, and startled by the sudden changes, Dennis moaned around the dick in his mouth, erupting a groan from the older man.
Dr. Robinavitch began to truly take over, fucking into the farm boy’s mouth, increasing his pace by the second.
“Whitaker-” He began to trip over his words “I’m gonna- fuck.” Then suddenly-
The loud blaring of Dennis’s phone woke him from his deep slumber.
“Oh fuck me.” He said to himself, clicking the *STOP* button and throwing his phone next to him on the mattress.
OR
When Dennis Whitaker fumbles his phone on shift and accidentally sends a risky text to his boss on shift, it finally becomes the wakeup call he needs to breakup with his deadbeat boyfriend. But after leaving the older man shut out and alone, Micheal Robinavitch begins to wonder what could have been if he responded differently. Dennis can't help but wonder either. -

Summary
Dennis Whitaker is fucked. Completely, irrevocably fucked. Somebody needs to put him fucking down. As soon as possible, preferably. Take him out back and mercy kill him like one would a deathly ill farm dog. Just, end him, like right now. Please, god, end him.
He’s got a terrible, horrible, no good, debilitating crush on his attending, Doctor Robby. And it’s becoming a serious issue. Like a Whitaker can’t focus on work at all kind of problem. And how can he be expected to when Dr. Robby is here? Always hovering near him, always touching. Hands on his shoulders, ruffling his ginger curls, a cautious hand on the small of his back once - that was memorable. Dennis almost spontaneously combusted then and there. That last one was probably a serious HR violation, but he can’t really bring himself to care all that much. Not when Robby is touching him like that.
Whitaker is down bad, but there's absolutely no way that his attending likes him back, right? Right?

Summary
"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned greatly..." It had been much too long since his last confession.
Every Hail Mary felt like a poorly placed suture. Just another temporary fix for a wound that was always meant to become infected, just like the rest of Dennis Whitaker.
No one was ever able to get rid of his sickness, no matter how hard they tried.
