It took very little persuading, when he asked that they found the only other surviving X-Man from his timeline. Roselyn Hyde (OC) is forced out of hiding when the TVA take her to E-10005, and is left to confront the countless years of distance between herself and the "worst" Wolverine.
A brand new world, unresolved feelings, and to top it all off: a merc with a mouth. What could possibly go wrong?

I expected James to grumble at him like he typically did when Wade had a suggestive comment towards me, but this time he was quiet. He turned to look down at him with a look I couldn't name, lips partially upturned in humor but his eyes held a different emotion. Something soft yet deeply intense.
"I think we both need a bath after that one." James cast his eyes at me, which I nodded to and turned to take my leave when a gloved hand encircled my wrist.
Wade had a smile on his face when I turned to look, "you wanna give us a hand?"
(or Wade shows that there can be love after trauma, and that scars can be beautiful.)
