Summary
Continuing from where we previously left off, this takes place where the dinner scene with Czernobog and company and leads up to Shadow playing checkers with Czernobog and losing to him, but in this story Birdie yanks Shadow out of the fire and becomes the one to engage the Slavic god in a battle of wills.
Because Birdie can see a shit storm coming and doesn't want Shadow anywhere in the middle of it, she very creatively finds a way to get everyone what they want.
No sex in this one yet, either! But we're getting there people. Let me build some tension here.

Summary
Birdie decided to tag along with Wednesday after meeting him in Oklahoma and realizing that he was the American Odin, as opposed to the European Odin who she knew as her husband. Wednesday had brought her and Shadow to meet some Slavic friends, and luckily for everyone, Birdie knows a thing or two about how to treat a grumpy old god of death with a little respect. A little kindness goes a long way.

Summary
Qui-Gon was trembling. Obi-Wan had a beautiful singing voice, he knew that. He’d often heard him singing when the young man thought no one was paying attention. Yet tonight there was a vibrant resonance to his voice, as though he was guided by the Force itself. Qui-Gon felt such love that he thought his heart might burst. Was Obi-Wan meant to be his Shabbat bride? In a heartbeat, Qui-Gon understood why no Eretzi would willingly give this up. He felt the serenity that he often felt in the Jedi temple, but it was mixed with love and desire. To know that one could feel like this every week was more than he could imagine. Obi-Wan’s force signature glowed gold beside him and the purity of it made Qui-Gon weep. He’d been waiting so long for a sign from the Force. Qui-Gon looked down at his prayer book and was startled to find a silvery white rose tucked in the pages. It was one of the ones that he and Obi-Wan had admired in the garden. This was it. Tonight, he would offer himself and his love.
A mission to the planet of Eretz brings Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan closer together. They discover that they may be destined for a different path than they thought. Now with art by Amethyst Thorne!

Summary
“Blow,” Obi-Wan instructed simply.
Anakin took a deep breath and exhaled sharply through his nose. He would have smiled if the gag allowed.
“Now you know that is not what I meant,” Obi-Wan scolded. “Blow through your mouth.”
Anakin wrinkled his nose despite the gag, but took in a deep breath through his nose and forced the exhale through his gag. The paper end of the noisemaker (or “fandoozle” as Obi-Wan liked to call them to make Anakin laugh even more) unfurled and a loud honk filled the room.

Summary
Kal's words rang in his head, of how the tradition could be used against the Mand'alor and when Obi-Wan looked at Jango's empty sheath, he knew what he had to do.
Obi-Wan shot forward as quickly as he could, ducking in front of Kal to steal one of his knives and slamming into Jango’s side right as Reau made it there, sliding the knife in right before she could.
They both looked at each other, Obi-Wan’s eyes wide as he realized what he’d done.
“Obi-Wan?” Jango asked as Kal grabbed his arm to keep him upright, looking between Obi-Wan and Reau as he started to piece together what had happened.
“I’m declaring my intent,” Obi-Wan said, keeping his voice as calm as he could, “To court Mand’alor Fett. Do you accept?”
Obi-Wan Kenobi is called back to Mandalore as the True and New Mandalorians are trying to come to a truce with Death Watch trying to take hold of the planet. He hadn't expected to find himself siding with the Haat'Mando and he certainly hadn't expected to find himself entering a millennia-old courting ritual with their leader.
But like always, Obi-Wan finds that when someone needs his help, he can't seem to walk away.
