After showing incompetence just a mere week and a half before the big band competition, the Music Freaks kicked Jake out of the club, showing no mercy. Yet when Milly and Hailey discover that their ex-friend has been M.I.A. For over 3 days, not even texting his sleazy friends, the girls begin to worry despite Zander’s protests and their internal anger. Searching for answers, they end up in a rabbit hole of secrets which eventually lead them to Jake’s house. And what they wind up finding changes their perspective of the strawberry blond-haired boy forever.
I originally wrote this in March 2021, so before episode six was released. Characterisation will be different of course, because half of season one wasn’t out. I hope you enjoy x.

Summary
In 1993, Gilderoy Lockhart points a stolen wand at Harry Potter and Ron Weasley with the intent to Obliviate them. The wand doesn't backfire. Gilderoy's "discovery" of the Chamber of Secrets is a short-term success.
Other consequences are not short-term at all.

I was watching the Chamber of Secrets movie several years back when the scene in question began to play...and immediately I wanted to know what would happen if the wand had done what it was supposed to do. The answer got very complicated, very, *very* quickly.Blame Edgar Allan Poe for the title.
