Summary
In a world where unbonded Alphas grow dangerously unstable over time, Harry Potter is, as usual, the exception: The only Alpha known to have mastered his impulses so completely, he’s never needed to claim an omega.
Harry may have been too late to save Voldemort, but maybe this time around—by going back in time and mentoring the young, emerging Alpha Tom Riddle—he can help him avoid his fate.
…If only Tom weren’t the exception to Harry’s self-control.

Summary
After the war, Harry Potter, now the Master of Death, returns to the past and becomes Hogwarts’ flying instructor, raising young Tom Riddle in a secluded Highland cottage under Headmaster Dippet’s protection.
Tasked with guiding a child destined for darkness, Harry’s own moral compass shifts as he protects Tom, while the boy’s innate cruelty sharpens into fevered devotion for the young man who raises him.
Their bond, deeper than any normal guardian-and-ward relationship, draws the wary eyes of Hogwarts, blurring the boundaries between familial, possessive, and dangerously intimate love. Desire, loyalty, and darkness intertwine, leaving both forever changed.

Summary
Much can be said about Tom Riddle’s unfortunate beginnings—namely, that none of it was ever under his control. To survive the dull days at Borgin & Burkes, he convinces himself that any greatness he achieves must be credited to him alone, even if it costs a few short years off his eternal life.
Until a summons arrives, and with it the disruption of his carefully measured stagnation: Harry Peverell, whose recklessness and wealth seem calculated to unsettle the order Riddle has imposed on himself, and whose lure he cannot ignore.

Summary
Large, freezing fingers take hold of his hair and wrench him up, up onto trembling knees as it snarls, there, close enough to rip his throat open with its maw of borrowed teeth.
"Do not think I am not tempted, Victor!" There is no heat to its breath, as it bellows its contempt not an inch from his face. Only moisture, and rushing air, expelled to defile his name. "To bleed you. To humble you."
--
"You have denied me death, I deny you in kind. You must live, Victor."
He hates the sound of his name in its mouth. Hates it. Had only it died as intended, that he would never suffer the sound again.
"For if you will not grant me a companion, I will take you as one."
