Jean kisses Harry suddenly, on a whim, and Harry can't get his mind off of it. He can't do his work because he keeps looking at Jean, and Kim quickly takes notice. Jean promises to talk to Harry one more time to try to work things out, with zero intentions of doing much talking.
"I'll ask frankly—" a short breath, "what did you say to Harry last night?"
You tap the back of your pen against the paper a few times, then reply without looking up. "The usual. Get your shit together, next time you'll be fired for real. So on."
"Hm." Kitsuragi doesn't leave. "Forgive me for overstepping, but could you please handle whatever is going on between you so we can do our jobs."
You sigh and set the pen down with a clack. Fuck. "I will talk to him, again. And if he's still out of sorts after, that is not my problem."
