She's creative, she thinks. So creative, at times, she even gets hallucinations. Of horses with wings, of people with only one eye. Of a boy with rainbow eyes and shifting, glitching skin.
the last ones a bit more real. it chases her, through the ruins of an abandoned house, and nearly stabs her through with a dagger.

Or, the circus is a band of runaway half bloods and clearsighted mortals trying to get to camp, guided by their AI guide, Caine, whos also a god. the problem is, they dont really know where camp is. or what they are. or about the mythological world. oh, and being on the run and in Caines program slowly drives them insane, as their mortal minds aren't built for constant godly pressure on their heads, so it's either lock in or go insane. gl pomni and friends.

Summary
Akemi and her team rushed up the mountain that the hashira had gone up, fearing the worst. It had been seven hours since the snow pillar had been dispatched, long enough for the sun to rise.
About halfway up the path, she saw him. He looked around 12 years old, with short black hair and pink eyelashes framing his closed eyes. He didn’t have a shirt, only a too-big vest and white flowy pants that cinched around his waist and ankles, which pooled at the bottom from how large they were. The boy looked as if he was trying on clothes 10 sizes too big for him with how they hung around his frame. He had blue beads on his wrists and ankles, and a handful of tattoos that showed his status as a criminal, and his body looked frail from lack of food, but he had toned arms and legs.
The most important detail, however, was the singular golden button on his pants, indicating that this was the hashira they were looking for.
The snow hashira had turned into a kid.
Or, human!Akaza in kny swap au de-ages because of a blood demon art. Written as a self-indulgent fic because i could for the life of me find no Akaza ones that i enjoyed reading.

damn i am in the aot headspace
ts fic is kinda peak
i love how this fic delves deeper into aot, and i love how it mentions that Eren isn't kind, hes selfish, which i think is one of the main messages of aot or at least of the plot. Eren isn't doing the rumbling because he's kind, (i mean, kinda obvious he kills 80 percent of the population) or because he doesn't think that the war should go on any longer, and he know it will stop if he goes through with the plan (future sight). no, its because he's selfish. he wants his friends to live long lives, and i think that point also was pulled through in this fic as well. he sold off his body and prostituted himself in order for, not only him, but armin, mikasa, and the other kids he was looking after, to live.
God, aot is so peak and so is this fic, there's more i want to say but I'm such a slow typer god damn this fic is good.
or, Erens past (gangs, prostitution) and how that effects him and his will to fight.

"Someone challenged the Thieves already?" Morgana's fur bristled in indignation, but Ren merely shook his head.
"No, Mona. Joker was challenged." He licked his lips, and gave up trying to withhold a truly manic grin. Morgana's tail swished in agitation, the not-cat not comprehending. He was about to retort, when Morgana meowed in indignation as Arsene materialized, decked out and with energy crackling around him, the same manic sort of expression lighting up his mask. He'd heaved Morgana up into the air and was grinning at the not-cat.
"Ren! By whom was Joker challenged!" Morgana hissed, and Ren laughed, loudly and freely and a little bit mad as well, as he thought of doves and moonlight magicians.
"Kaitou KID!"

Jason recognizes the kid on the news, he realizes, when he idly glances up from his book to the TV playing silently in front of him.
That’s not unusual, per say.
Kids from Crime Alley, from the Narrows? They make the news all the time, and he knows, or knew, a lot of ‘em. They’re always warnings, tragic and broken, and even if they don’t use the kids’ names, he can usually recognize the faces the headlines are paired with.
They aren't usually being labeled as "domestic terrorists" on national television, though. But maybe Percy Jackson's just always been an outlier. Jason remembers he was a pretty weird kid, from the very few times they met.
