But now, Lance got himself in a bit of a pickle. Which is fine, because Lance has a plan to get out of it! A wonderful, brilliant, masterful, completely fool-proof plan. His team won't look at him like he's more incompetent than they already do, he won't have to spend the rest of his life trapped on some alien planet, and Keith will never find out just how head over heels he is for him. It's a win-win-win situation.
Of course, with Keith, things are never quite so simple, and Lance's plan soon causes a domino effect that changes the entire course of his life.

Right. It’s, what — three? four AM there? He always forgets if it’s a nine or ten hour difference.
“Yeah, it’s me,” Izuku says, only a tiny bit guilty over obviously having woken Todoroki up. “Sorry to wake you.”
He’s not really sorry. Todoroki probably won’t be upset, either, once he sees why Izuku called. Probably.
“What’s happening?” Todoroki is visible in the lamplight now. “Why are you covered in dust? Are you alright?”
“Don’t worry about me. You need to see this.”
Izuku flips the camera.
“Holy shit,” Todoroki says, wide awake now, and Izuku grins, giddiness bubbling in his chest.

This fic takes place after the Hosu arc and skips straight to the kids moving into the dorm. This is my fun little interim AU wherein the kids get to deal with their emotional baggage and interpersonal drama without having to actively fight for their lives, at least for a little while. Sweater Weather is 100% a self indulgent comfort fic, diving right into all the classic tropes of mutual pining and hurt/comfort. It started off as a series of one-shots, but as the chapters go it becomes more detailed and cohesive. I hope it makes you feel cozy!
