Summary

However, as shadows seem to suddenly encapsulate the city, thoughts of devising fresh ways to rake leaves or choosing what to go out for as Halloween swiftly fade into that same darkness as friends and loved ones start to disappear and Candace finds that she might not even have a future, as she and her brothers band together to take on the unknown monster threatening them all.
It soon becomes a perilous choice which leads to Candace, at last, coming face to face with the Mysterious Force she feels has been out to harm her all along...

As if roles have changed, Subspace stayed as mad scientist, but Medkit goes deeper into the insanity of becoming a forensic pathologist.
The mad scientist and a butterfly inpherno start their own adventure - full of murders, accident criminality and a bit of romance. A typical gentlemen's set, don't you think?
The AU takes place several months after the game. All phighters have features of 1 animal - Medkit has deer features, while Subspace has butterfly features. Also, don't expect the usual grumpy but kind Medkit - being in Lost Temple slightly messed his mind. Meet with love - Madkit !

Dr. Lawrence Angelo thinks he has the perfect subject for his experiments on increasing human intelligence. Jobe is the local yard guy, aka the Lawnmower Man. He's easygoing, naive, and not particularly smart. Angelo is confident he can mold Jobe into something different and better.
But Dr. Angelo rapidly discovers that his story is less Pygmalion and more Frankenstein. The experiments make Jobe far more powerful than Angelo foresaw, and he's unable to stop Jobe from taking whatever he wants.
And what Jobe wants, mostly, is Dr. Angelo.
