Summary
Long ago, the Great Mother bestowed a gift to her children. A partner, a friend, or even a spouse. One or more Na’vi that were made to complement each other, recognized by the patterns on their skin, unique to each individual, but with a small exception.
A pattern on their skin, be it the face, a hand, a leg. Something matching, identical, to show what they could be to each other, if they allow it.
It could be their stripes, a mark upon birth, even their tanhi.
A soulmate, they called it.
