Summary
After killing Alma Coin, Peeta failed in preventing from swallowing the Night Lock. Thus, Katniss Everdeen died the same day along side her enemy President Snow, who died, beaten to death by all the citizens of Panem. You'd think that be the end for one Snake and one Mockingjay. However, their story is far from over. Coriolanus wakes up years in the past, just after the tenth hunger games, in the very hospital for the peace keepers shortly after being bit by the snake Lucy Gray set to kill him. To his surprise, so is Miss Katniss Everdeen. Who got caught sneaking back into distrect twelve. Now, the journey of their lives is about begin and it's time for them to enjoy the show. The question remains, will Katniss except the help of the very man who once made her life a living hell? But then, what other options did she have? Coriolanus Snow after all, is the only one left who knows her. Leaving her no choice but to join the man she once knew as president, or live a life alone where all she used to love, is left in the broken past. Well, a future that likely will never exist again. And what does one do, when the new love of her life ends up being the man she once hated.

It's not like the Ministry could foresee why this might not be a good idea. Most sixth years didn't make the cut for the marriage law at the time, just a few. One of those included Hermione Granger. And a certain Bartemius just had his name cleared under rather mysterious circumstances.
Please note that this fic is Incomplete and will remain that way henceforth. My reasoning has been detailed in the latest 'chapter.'
If you would like to read a story I intend to complete with the same premise I suggest Procyon Mask, this fics' 'spiritual successor.'

But when she's captured and made prisoner at Malfoy Manor, of all the dark and evil ways she'd envisioned Malfoy would torture her, she never quite imagined anything this horrific.I just wanted to make it abundantly clear that I was originally inspired to write this fic after I read the masterpiece that is Manacled, so I would like to thank SenLinYu for her amazing work! The memory searching aspect of Manacled is what inspired me, and although I have adapted that, (and also made Draco head Death Eater, because... ya know... we all love it when he's Voldemort's right hand man 😅😉), Secrets and Masks will be a very very different fic all together.
