Summary
“Let me paint your nails.”
“What?” Arthur stared at him as if Merlin had suddenly growled at him in Greek.
“It’s something my mum and I used to do, when we were really sad and needed a reminder that there’s always a bit of color in the world.”
Arthur's hurting after his break up with Mithian, so Merlin decides to paint Arthur's nails to cheer him up. Then Arthur keeps painting his nails, and maybe there's more happening under the surface than Merlin realizes.
