Summary
After an execution gone wrong, the infamous Cutthroat was once again walking free. Akira never gave a second thought about the Akudama running rampant in the city. She did what she could to ignore them, but it's hard when she ends up harboring one in her apartment after finding him half-dead on her way home from work.
She only intended to patch him up and send him on his way, but soon learned that Akudama may be more than just their secret codenames and wanted posters on the streets. Akira knew she shouldn't have helped him, but leaving him to bleed out in the streets wouldn't make her any better, would it?

Summary
Hacker is not one to quibble about the fine arts. In general, he is ruled by logic and rules, be it if he’s playing in one of his video games, hacking into a government database, or if he’s trying to finagle his way into getting free food from Swindler. There’s this sense of satisfaction he alone can feel when he manages to outwit authority by jumping through loopholes no one else can see.
It’s fulfilling.
With art like poetry and painting, it’s a lot harder to see what rules dictate how and why someone should use certain brushes or different strokes, what words or grammar would be best utilized to make a point. For someone like Hacker, art doesn’t make sense. Art is subjective; it is what you make of it and Hacker can’t quite recall what makes art… art.

“Is there any way we can bring this guy’s survival up even by a bit? I’ve tried damn near everything!” You exclaimed, hand running through your hair in frustration. Tia jumped in her seat next to you, shaking as she looked over to your monitor.
“Ah, uh, um…” She stammered, her hands shaking. “Have you really…tried everything?”
You shake your head yes. “It’s like no matter what I do, he ends up sacrificing himself in some way, or he gains no sympathy or compassion from the others. He either has too much trust or not enough. There has to be a way to keep him from killing himself and make the others feel bad for him more.”
“Ah, er, hm,” Tia placed her hand under her chin in thought. You too also thought about the kinds of things that could be done to help him raise his survival even the most minimal amount.
