A tight-lipped smile. It's second nature by now. He's said it enough times now that he almost believes it himself.

"No, not anymore."[The disastrous 2018 PyeongChang Olympics ended up with Viktor and Yuuri breaking off their engagement. Now, four years later, the past will be rehashed with Yuuri preparing young Ren Tanaka for the 2022 Beijing Olympics while Viktor coaches Yuri Plisetsky to take the gold.

Patroclus kisses when he’s drunk. It’s not usually a problem for Achilles, not at all. He doesn’t think much about it, except Patroclus kisses anyone but him. Not a proper kiss, at least.

Summary
Three years ago, Yuuri and Victor had an auspicious affair, dismally cut by an accident resulting the latter being pronounced "dead." Having burgeoning job as a lawyer and finally feeling anchored after his loss, Yuuri could never imagine that Victor will return, let alone as a sniper assigner to kill his client. A briefcase with graphic photographs of Yuuri is then found, so him and Victor make a contract, one guaranteeing them protection in the face of law and survival through the rigors of unspoken feelings.

Yuuri’s world did not fall to pieces hearing those words from Victor’s mouth, but only because his world had been shattering bit by painful bit for weeks now. Weeks of dodged calls, cancelled dates and vague excuses. This was just the culmination, an inevitability.

Summary
"The collision bursts through Yuri’s body like an electric shock, heavy and stinging. His head makes contact with the ice so hard stars glitter beneath his eyelids. It’s not the first time he’s fallen, but it’s never been like this, like the wind has been sucked out of his lungs, stealing his life force, leaving him breathless.
They lift him into the gurney, and Yuri closes his eyes. When he wakes up, he’s on the couch of their shared apartment.
“Hey, zhanym.” Otabek is saying softly, kindly even."
Yuri sustains a head injury while training and has a dream where he and Otabek are together. He doesn't know what to do with the leftover feelings when he wakes up.
