Summary
Melinda Morrible took pride in being a person who was not easily rattled. She’d trained herself to expect the unexpected, so she would be better able to cope with any situation life might throw at her (and working with Oscar, situations were thrown at her often). But she’d never anticipated a situation like this before: a nineteen year old girl with light blonde hair, a grating high pitched voice…and Melinda’s dark eyes.
Later, she would learn Galinda Upland had her magic too: a girl who happened to have the same last name as Larena. Who was, in all probability, Larena’s daughter.
Or: Madame Morrible is Galinda’s other parent. She doesn’t realize this until Galinda’s first day at Shiz. It changes quite a bit.
