Summary
New Chapter: 139 - Superman, the king of the world?
Novelization of Lois and Clark’s story and relationship, plus Bruce, Diana, Perry, and all, based on Post-Crisis comics. It will start with the comics from the 80s until the current run. (maybe even dabble into the New 52, who knows?)
Sometimes it will follow the comics very closely, sometimes not, sometimes it will expand it, sometimes rewrite it, sometimes cross-reference with other Supermen canon, sometimes add fluff, sometimes add smut (it didn't have much in the early days).
It's very unpretentious writing and it's not supposed to be a super-accurate version either, just a fun ride.

Summary

“Call it even?” Lois asked with a small smile playing on the corner of her mouth as she bit her bottom lip. Clark wanted nothing more than to free it from her teeth with his own lips.
“Yeah, Lo,” Clark whispered, smiling softly, leaning towards her unconsciously, desperate to be closer to her even if only a few inches. Her smile widened, blinding him with the brightness of a thousand Christmas trees wrapped in string lights. “We can call it even.”

“C’mon Clark, your future’s laid out right in front of you, you’re gonna go to community college, major in agriculture, probably minor in law enforcement. Then you and Lana are gonna have a nice little church wedding.”
“It’s written in the stars and you know it. It’s only a matter of time before you join the bowling league, take over the family farm, and then, well. You and Lana can bring little Clark Jr. into the world.”
As much as it initially rattled him, perhaps Lois was right. Clark was determined to live a fulfilling— if perhaps boring— life as a human. He no longer had to carry on the weight of his "destiny," and now, he was just like any other man that wasn't really from around here.
Perhaps his life could never stop being strange, given his origins, but he hoped everything had settled in place, and he could finally be free with who and what he wanted.
Just like he’d always envisioned.
