Nonsensically, probably high as hell, Ray had the audacity to hit him with a defensive “I can have feelings for as many people as I want.”
Sand wanted to be honest; he wanted to do this right, quick and final. What he wanted to say was ‘You can’t do this to me. Not to me.’ What left Sand’s mouth was “And I can’t?”
Or: I am pissed the conversation went the way it did before Sand could go truly feral. This is what Sand could have said – plus the aftermath.
