It's small black eyes stared at her through the crystal clear glass. the sparrow was unsettlingly still. at first glance, it seemed content. calm even. But she could tell something was off. that cold look in its eye... the emotion in it as trapped as the rest of the sparrow within its cage.
A shiver wracked her body, she whipped her body around, her breath ragged as she kept her head down, watching her feet pick up speed.
