This is genuinely so peak. The depiction of panic attacks and depression and anxiety could not be better. It is so incredibly real. “If you had not opened that door I would’ve killed myself” FUCKING STOP. Don’t even get me started on Kel obsessively eating the candies to the point he was eating wrappers, dirt, crying, and tasting blood and then sunny bringing him out of it I CANT. The communication between characters, the angry and resentful thoughts, combined with anxiety and a need to be accepted, to bring happiness to everyone so that they might love you back…is insane. Not to mention the WONDERFUL supernatural elements woven in that just intensifies everything in the most brutal, raw way imaginable…I could go on for hours.
