Shinsou Hitoshi dies whilst under the influence of multiple quirks and is reincarnated as Hatake Kakashi.
(Can be read without any knowledge of Road to Nowhere. This is just the same concept reversed.) (But it's a really good story so you should do that anyway.) (For your soul.)
Most kids with undesirable quirks dream of a place where powers can be gained and discarded like any other skill. Where you don't have to be defined by the power your parents passed onto you. Where everyone has the potential to learn to use any quirk they like, as long as they work for it.
But even fantasy worlds are plagued by the inherent unfairness of genetics, apparently.
And war. There's also that.

Ishvalans kept infants on their backs for most of their early years, tied and swaddled in place with cloth, and shielded from biting sand.

Here, and now, Amestrians believe that a baby should be kept indoors for its first few months–to protect their health, and their developing systems.
Hohenheim knows just enough about childhood development to question this, but not enough to truly challenge it. Time had proved him wrong before, science and understanding crawling away from him as he spent years turning over other stones. It was as if the world moved rapidly every time he blinked, blurring past him without notice.

Summary
Bakugou Katsuki died fighting the demon king, with Izuku’s name on his lips, taking his dream with him, and that should’ve been the end. Alas, fate had other plans, because he’s back, still blond, and inherited another helping of hot headedness from his new mom as one Uzumaki Naruto.
This new world is weird, but just close enough to home to reignite the dream he thought died with his old name. Konoha better brace itself, because he’ll either become the Hokage, or turn the village into a crater trying!

It’s ridiculous, really. That a mere training accident would lead to all of this, but Sasuke’s life has been a series of unfortunate events since the massacre.
But here, worlds away from his home, he finds a boy who is too much like him and too much like Naruto. The blond idiot would never forgive him if he didn’t at least try to help.
Besides, it’s not like sasuke is getting home any time soon anyways.

On the morning that he found out he was in love, Kakashi woke up to the sunshine pouring in through his window, ambled into the bathroom, and hacked up a single red chrysanthemum into the sink. He stared at it for a long time. He knew what it meant, obviously. There was only one reason why a man who hadn’t previously eaten a floral arrangement could be spitting out whole flowers.
After all he's been through, Kakashi certainly isn't going to let a little thing like a chakra disorder kill him. Obviously, he's going to confess his love and get cured. Easy. Now... he just has to figure out who to confess it to.

THIS IS THE BEST HANAHAKI STORY OF ALL TIME
seriously. It just all works together so well, from the fact that the disease fits in the worldbuilding to the way the characters think about it in a cultural/practical/medical way To the way Kakashi addresses the problem like a mission. And that we're acknowledging the tragedy and romance of the concept but also that love is valuable in all its forms.
And really I can only imagine Kakshii going around telling people that he loves them if he's Literally Dying. I love how the confessions were all genuine. And that the reason it took him so long to get to Gai was because he was genuinely so emotionally numb that he wasn't sure who it was. And then out of consideration for Gai's feelings.
