Despite being quite inexperienced compared to the rest of the ninja, Lloyd knows that Brad can hold his own well enough to survive. Hell, Brad knows nature in and out, so he’s probably living in a forest for all Lloyd knows. And even if he is living in a forest, then Lloyd won’t object. He’s probably happier there anyways, after what happened.
OR:
Lloyd feels bad that his last words to his partner was the request to leave. He feels afraid that he'll never get to say sorry.

Koruhami is a trading post turned village in between Ignacia and the Great Plateau. It's a beautiful town, largely untouched by the Calamity, with beautiful architecture and beautiful people. Lloyd hasn't been to a Hylian village since the Lady Iron Dragon (his mom) sent him on this journey. Back then, Lloyd didn't know how pretty Hylians were supposed to be.
It gets shoved in his face by a rude florist before he even makes it through the gates.
