Summary
Ciri travels to Kaer Morhen in search of information on the Trial of Grasses, aiming to undergo the mutations themself in secret. However, upon arriving at the abandoned keep - they are met by Lambert.
Ciri struggles through emotions and Identity as they seek out their claim to witcherhood and with it brotherhood and manhood. The trials of grasses if far from the only trial that Ciri will face. With politics hanging in the background, family struggles, and re-defining their own nature and relationships with friends and family -- Ciri has a lot to work through.
At least he can swing his sword around at these monsters (which seem to be increasing in numbers to a concerning degree) when it all gets to be too much.

Summary
In his youth, Obi-Wan's master taught him archaïc methods to overcome shame, guilt and improper desires. On his ascension to knighthood, he gifted him the instrument for it, indicating he was ready to continue the practice alone.
Twenty years later, Obi-Wan Kenobi still depends on his master's guidance when his own resolve fails him. But after an injury brings him to the healers, he is warned against any attempt to make use of them during his recovery. If he cannot help it, he at least shouldn't be doing it alone, without the supervision of one who could ensure his safety.
Anakin insists on being the one entrusted with the task. Thinking he understands what it will be like, Anakin opens his hand for his master's scourge, and slips into the role that once belonged to Qui-Gon Jinn
