"Euijoo?" Nicholas can practically hear Maki's frown as he mutters the other man's name, "Who is that? Do you know him?"
"...Yeah." Nicholas swallows his past sorrow, "He's an old friend."

“I should get back,” Euijoo said, his voice hoarse as he sat up and started reaching for his clothes. He never stayed over. It was one of his rules, a flimsy barrier to protect his heart.
Nicholas didn’t say anything, just watched him dress from the bed. There was an unreadable expression in his eyes as Euijoo pulled on his jeans and shirt.”
