You two are seated out on the terrace of Luiza’s cafe, as you usually are on Thursday afternoons. “She wants to be alone, sending her fanmail is not going to do anything but probably piss her off.”

Her eyes narrowed, and you could see the flames of hell dancing within them. Moira was looming over your desk now, using her height to intimidate you into compliance. “I've heard no such thing.”
You raised an eyebrow. "Did you read your emails, or did you ignore them as you are wont to do?”
"I filter irrelevant communications out."
Of course, the woman ignored the email that would inconvenience her. Did she honestly believe that Talon would fund her forever? That she was above cutbacks and budget concerns?
